‘Fast & Furious’ saga on track with Vin Diesel vs. John Cena in ‘F9’

3 min read

After two many years, nine films and $6 billion in box workplace, the “Fast & Furious” franchise extends its joyride with “F9: The Rapid Saga,” one more tale rooted in household values and ear-splitting vehicular mayhem – the a lot more preposterous the much better. And, yikes, this entry, directed and co-published by collection vet Justin Lin, goes waaayyy more than the leading, launching a rocket-powered Pontiac Fiero into outer house.  (Insert facepalm emoji).

Vin Diesel and Michelle Rodriguez in "F9," the ninth installment of the "Fast and Furious" franchise.

How the motion picture gets to that position is not the situation. Even James Bond went into room, appropriate? The enduring charm of this goofy franchise has in no way been about plot. It’s all about the globe-trotting motion, insane auto tricks, such as one automobile rope-swinging Tarzan-style around a canyon, and the trials of Dom Toretto’s (Vin “I am Groot” Diesel) tight-knit team of gearheads.
