Spearheading Arts Excellence

The September events calendar is packed with ideas for entertainment

6 min read

The events calendar promises a September to remember for fans of live entertainment, outdoor festivals, beer tastings and art.

Some long-popular summer events were moved to September this year, like Garrison Day in Beaver and the Beaver Falls Car Cruise.

Pittsburgh area concert sites like Club Cafe, Mr. Smalls Theater and Carnegie of Homestead Music Hall finally get back to full gear with show offerings.

Whether plays, galleries, car cruises or wine tastings are your jam, there’s plenty to see and do.

Keep in mind COVID safety protocols, and the lingering possibility that events might be postponed.

But here’s a good starting point to map out your September fun.

Sept. 1.

Big Knob Grange Fair, New Sewickley Township, continues through Sept. 4.

Glass Animals concert at Stage AE.

Sept. 2.

• “12:52 The Mike Webster Story” opens at Iron Horse Community Theatre, Ambridge. (Continues Sept. 3-5; 9-12 and 17-18.)
